The Caroline County Human Services Council, Inc. has
been designated by the Caroline County Commissioners
as the Local Management Board for Caroline County and
authorized to receive state Children's Cabinet
Interagency Funds.
Caroline County Human Services Council, Inc.
administers over 1 million dollars in state funds in
the form of grants to county government, local
agencies, businesses and non-profit organizations that
serve children and youth.
The programs funded are designed to support the result
areas chosen by the Human Services Council:
Healthy Children
Children Successful in School
Communities that Support Family Life
In addition, each April the Human Services Council
issues a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Community
Initiative Grants. These grants are awarded to
community organizations that are operating in Caroline
County. Proposals submitted for these grants must
demonstrate how the program will address at least one
of the above result areas and how they will be
evaluated.
